My kids can learn a lesson how to protect the forest from here. Lot of love for who had spent their life to build the park.

The hospitality at Bushy Park homestead as amazing. The owner is a fabulous host. We really enjoyed our coffee, cake and chat. Kindly accommodated 9 of us for afternoon tea with no booking. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic experience. Beautiful bush with loads of native birds. The homestead is a lovely building and you can stay the night.

Fantastic park with several short walks you can easily combine to trek through the whole park. Trails were well graded, I’d say mostly flat but few spots with stairs. Favorite part was being serenaded by all the birds during our walk! Had cream tea at the homestead, great deal at 12pp, and then spent an hour walking the four tracks near the house. Nice facilities and small museum as well.

Bird life is fantastic, especially great to see so many Saddleback be so friendly, must visit for Whanganui!

Impressive property. Well laid out walks and native birds to listen to and observe. Historical aspects in a small museum free of charge. Campervans welcome to overnight, not sure of the fee. Not a POP. NZMCA. Walks are not too long.
