Daniel came out to fix gas fire, great service, so booked in to have tap and waste disposal installed. Sent out the slowest/most dodgy plumber in Christchurch - took an hour and a half to take out of box and read instructions (I loaned him my glasses so he could read it)! Also came unprepared with no tools to cut shelf for new set up. Totally inappropriate behaviour, cornered me in my garage when I went to show him where the water tap was and was, when I tried to get out he made inappropriate suggestions, needless to say I was home alone and felt unsafe in my own home. 3.5 hours to do a 1.5 max job. Still have pieces on my bench which haven't been fitted into waste, tap is no longer secured and spins around and no shelf in cupboard!! I have phoned Action several times over last 3 weeks now to sort out and still no response. Don't like posting here but what more can I do?? If you are a woman on your own check carefully who they are sending out. Daniel please come and sort this out!! :-(

Its evident from the other reviews the experience we have had with this Daniel Board character is nothing new. Even when trying to reason with this man to get our work done properly he becomes aggressive to the point I wont allow him back at my property, I suggest staying well away from this man.
I had Action Plumbing around to do work for my Grandmother. She's in a wheelchair and I look after tasks such as organising a tap replacement. This job didn't go so well, I got Action Plumbing in but the guy took hours to do a 20 minute job. He simply disappeared while the water was off and tap removed. When I complained about the length of time taken, the boss, Daniel Board became super aggressive over the phone. When the plumber returned I showed him the door and completed the work myself, at least well enough to get Gran up and running again. Action Plumbing have to be the worst outfit I've encountered.
Absolutely hopeless. Don't turn up to appointments, a million excuses why they can't make an appointment to get stuff done, don't call back. 2 months wasted on this mob. They would have to be the worst run business I've come across in my 57 years. One star is overly generous but hey!!
Do not use them - I certainly won't ever again. Took forever to uninstall a leaking hot water cylinder then installing a new one therefore was charged double the quoted price. When I enquired I was abused and threaten to have the 10% discount taken away if not paid on the day!
