This is the most thrilling awesome ride on the Waimakariri river. We loved every minute. Thank you Paul for you professional and interesting insight to the river. This is a must do everyone.

What an adventurous place and activity. It is at a bit of distance from Christchurch but worth doing it. It takes you to a remote place where your speedboat adventure starts in Waimakariri river. Our boat caption was a nice man and gave us a good introduction of the area. It was about half an hour speed run upstream with lots of 360 degree spins and similarly 30 minutes downstream journey. River flows right next to a railway track up the hill laid for mining but used for tourists train only. There is enough parking available, a nice coffee shop and toilets. You can feed sheeps and lamas grazing in that area.
A great jet boat experience with plenty of 360s and good information about the local area from Paul as well as a visit to the museum they have developed as a tribute to Hamilton jet engines and boats.
Amazing fun and thrills. Great people who give you the history of the river and its place in nature. Very skilled and friendly driver ,highly recommend.

What amazing day I had, Paul was very accommodating and picked me up from my hotel. We chatted the whole way there and the whole way back. Paul's an absolute gentleman and made for a jet boating experience I'll never forget. This is a must do if you visit Christchurch.
