The free camp site has been moved 800 metres north. It is still an amazing place. Tents and campervans allowed. Thank you Kaiaua. Charming pub in town too.

Amazing place, free camping first in first served. Big thank you to the boat club for sharing toilets with campers (very clean by the way)
Free overnight camper parking!! Also there is a really lovely pub next door that hold a killer pool competition on a Wednesday. Free to enter with a 25 bar tab prize. The locals are really friendly and fun to hang out with. The food is very good price, I would highly recommend!

Great club, atmosphere is friendly and beer is cold. Only thing to remember, launching on ramp 2.5 hours either side of high tide

Very nice and large campground. Great people we met and a nice place to stay. Fish and chips are rather good and close by, besides we have chosen to cook ourselves and everyone put in what they got. Great memories and met a lot of interesting people there
