Great experience. They leave you be, the mountains are gorgeous, the animals wake you early (part of the experience!), and the camel smell of the yurt is very slight and not unpleasant. It was a bit cold, but the bed warmer put us all out within moments. Go to Kaikoura point for the hike around the end of the peninsula.

Great fun to play with a lot of friendly animals. Advertised as free in brochure, but it did cost us 5. Nonetheless it was fun and worth a quick visit.
Excellent place to get in close with normal farm animals!
The place is a bit run down but I guess that's why the cheap entrance fees. The animals are kinda aggressive with the visitors, all rushing to us for food. One of the goats literally attacks me, luckily the worker was there to help me. They have a variety of animals and they are pretty adorable when they don't push for food.

Such a disappointment the place was run down and a mess the pictures on the web page do not match the surroundings that are portrayed you are going to pay some money and basically walk around someones back yard would not recommend it save your money and go somewhere else
