We stayed here for two nights and it is one of the best place to stay in Kaikoura! The accommodation is very clean. Book for a standard room with a sea view! You won't regret it! You can see the sea from the common room and kitchen as well. The staff, Storm, is so friendly and accommodating. You'll gonna love to stay here as it is super close to the city center. Ask Storm for tips on how to swim with the seals for free! PS: they have a super friendly cat! He loves belly rub

Very welcoming hosts, Storm and his sister Missy made me feel part of the family and were very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed it so much I decided to stay another night to make the most of the hospitality and amazing views. Very clean and tidy . Would highly recommend to anyone , great value and will definitely be back. Thanks so much, Blessings, Edwin

Sucha beautiful, spacious, clean and tidy lodge. Opportunity to meet lots of gr8 people..and the Manager Storm just happens to be my big brova. So blessed to watch him in his element, and to keep this space so clean and tidy. I enjoyed helping out where I can to then chillax and have coffee and lunch with him and the guests. Storms so talented, he does his carvings across the road at the beach, where one can get creative and lost in the sound of the waves...Bless The Kaikoura Seaside Lodge. A home away from home vxo
A great place to stay. Don’t be put off by its humble description. We stayed in one of the smallest twin rooms, but it was light and airy, with a view of the sea. The whole place is spotlessly clean, and you can’t go past the view from the dining area.
Facilities were great and cost effective. Storm (host) was welcoming and it was great to meet different people in the evening in the common area. You can’t get sick off waking up to sea and mountains outside
Lovely place to stay and great location. Very accommodating hosts, went way above and beyond for us. Warm rooms and comfy beds. We will most definitely return to Seaside. Highly recommend!
Beautiful views from the room & common area. All the facilities you need for a nights stay in Kaikoura including coffee and tea! Staff were friendly and had great recommendations on what to see, do & eat.
