Wow what a place! Fantastic location, amazing views, to your right 50 yards away is the beach and to you left a great view of snow capped mountains! The apartment was perfect! Kaikura was such a lovely place to stay! Another place I would definitely recommend!

Really couldn't give this place higher than one star. We paid 300 a night for a July weekend, aka not peak season, we're after a nice and clean place but this is not the place we were wanting to stay. We requested for a cot in the room, it's not there when we arrived. I called the reception, was told there's no notes about it not apologetic at all. So I proposed to forward the requesting email and confirmation from the office to her, she said no that's fine I trust you, that's it, still not sorry. Our baby missed his nap time because of the delay and we had to suffer from the consequence the whole afternoon. When the cot was delivered, we were told she normally doesn't do this because the housekeeping normally set it up. Left us having to do it ourselves, to be fair she did offer to help VERY reluctantly. I said no because I didn't want to suffer from her attitude anymore. The cot was gross with stains of vomits on the mat and the blankets were unclean. Our baby end up having 40degree fever the next two nights, could be a coincident. What's worse was that they picked out half of the on button from both of the oil press heater in our unit, leaving the room super cold at night for the baby in the cot. The heat pump is located in the living room and wasn't power enough to pump it through to the room. Adults are fine in bed with electric blankets. The space between the flat sheet and duvet was disgustingly filled with dusts all grey. This is not a place for family with young kids for sure. Will never go back to this place again.

Very nice place and very nice staff, great location I like how it was a near a skate park and had very nice views of the ocean, and I was very impressed with how clean it was, I checked under the beds and in the bathroom. Very pleased with my stay and only wish it could have be longer, Thank you very much!
