Unfortunately was not a good experience on my visit. This was the main reason for stopping in Kaiwaka but due to the lady behind the counter prioritizing socializing with an old acquaintance and being rude to other customers when asked if could quickly be served as wasn't fair to be taking up their time unnecessary. Pity as really wanted to purchase some of their product...

My partner and I were excited to visit the shop and were about to buy a considerable amount of cheese, when an incredibly unsettling interaction with the person behind the counter drove us straight out the door, intending never to return. There may have been a time when the produce at this shop was unique enough to put up with a rude customer service, but there are certainly other suppliers of good cheese in NZ now. Avoid.

Oh what a little gem! The lady at the counter was SUPER HELPFUL in helping us find flavours that we loved and ended up buying lots of different kinds. Best melt in your mouth fresh cheese! Highly recommend it.

Great little shop with lots of goodies. Great selection of cheeses. Usually go in to buy cheeses but end up with other quality products as well. Very happy customer. By the way... Friendly helpful staff! Thanks

Great cheese. Shame about the service!! Was in here recently where the lady behind the counter seemed like she didn’t want to sell anything. She was so rude that one group of people left the shop. I would have done the same if I hadn’t wanted 60 worth of cheese. Be warned not to feel welcome here:

The brunette lady needs to lose the attitude, looking at some other reviews it’s an ongoing problem. Would have definitely bought some cheese and wine but didn’t like being told off for touching the monkey toy \u200d️ above the door. Don’t want to be super petty about it but someone does need to chill a bit, the vibe is not inviting at all. With all the great product selection it could have been so much better.
