A really decent new years eve festival! Bit smaller than the other main NYE festival which makes it easier to navigate in terms of size and easier to meet people. The proximity to beautiful northland beaches means you are only 15 minutes away from white sand and clear blue sea which is the ultimate way to spend your days as you go to the festival in the evenings.

Stayed at the bass hotel with my partner and friend. Had a premo time, staff were friendly and helpful. Hill was a mission to walkup but the shuttles saved me multiple times. Good food setup, few more hot food stalls would be good. Line ups and stages well done, good times bringing in 18'

Festival was fine, however the experience in and out of the festival was very poor. It took us an hour and a half to get back in to the festival after going to the beach on the 31st. Organisationally they have a long way to go compared to rhythm and vines.

Northern Bass is a fantastic new years festival! If you love Drum and Bass, dancing, amazing acts & all round great times in the sun, then it's the place to go!!

Had a great time but got scammed by the people selling water in the convince store, thought it was really weird that he didn’t show me the amount left on my awop after the transaction, 1st time anyone hadn’t, had just purchased a hotdog and had 170 left, next minute .51c... expensive water

When entering the carpark, it was the worst experience anyone could ask for. My 85k new lexus was DAMAGED by red badge security when doing a severe vehicle check. They completely pulled apart the car for who knows what. Made me take my socks and shoes off, when the people in the other line were just going through like no tomorrow.. They broke my showing utensils, "accidentally" kneed the rear tail light in the bumper which caused it to fully shatter! And ripped my shower gel open and left it on the floor without even letting me know. Poor experience. I HOPE YOU GET IN CONTACT WITH ME ABOUT THE BUMPER LIGHT PLEASE!
