A very professionally run and welcoming organization. I'm a first time pet owner, so was understandably a bit nervous and had various questions. The advice and support has been fantastic, both at the center and being available to answer any question at any time.

Reported a neglected animal but felt like it was a waste of time. Have called and called. Someone will contact you, they say... Its been weeks. Don't support these people, there's Animal Refuge who are far more interested and competent

Until my call has been replied to and I can ascertain that the animals needing investigation have been tended to it is no stars (but I have to place "one" as it won't allow post)- also based on that the owner is recidivist in neglect and previously this centre was extremely loathe to act on behalf of the animals welfare if indeed they did? Animal was left to starve in winter with low body mass no food no water in mud in winter with a large abscess size of fist to wallow in mud . :( whilst owner went on a 6 week overseas trip.

Those who work at the far north SPCA are so compassionate not only towards the animals, but as human beings. It is a pleasure to interact with the employees here who clearly care so genuinely for the welfare of all animals in our region.
