My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa the week before Christmas with our 4 year old son and just loved it. The villa itself is set up with all you could need with full kitchen, bathroom, laundry and two large bedrooms. The grounds are huge, which our boy loved running around on with his bike, and loved the swing too. There’s a great BBQ area which we didn’t get time to use but would recommend bringing some BBQ food if you stay here for sure. The owners left a bottle of wine in the fridge for us which was perfect since we were pretty thirsty and wanted to take in the views as soon as we got there.

We wish we could have stayed longer in this delightful accommodation with an outlook you see in brochures promoting the New Zealand coastline. It is truly spectacular. The villas are thoughtfully designed for couples or even extended families, with everything you need (including FOC WiFi), except your food. For a secluded holiday in a stunning location, far from the bustle of everyday life yet minutes from some of the Coromandel's prettiest beaches and close to two of the most popular towns, this is the place to be. We will definitely return.
My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at the 3 Bed Villa at Mercury Villas and were blown away with the gorgeous location. The place was brand new and you could tell. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms great, with the main bathroom having a bath too, and the living area extremely comfortable. The kitchen was stocked up with all the pans and utensils we needed just like home and there was even a gas stove top. The view is SPECTACULAR. You can see right out to the Mercury Islands, with nothing in front of you. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, we would definitely recommend this to others We had a little trouble finding the place, but once we used Google Maps it was easy, so we would recommend using this for others. Also, best to stock up on groceries in Whitianga on the way because there is only really a pizza shop (great pizza) and a corner store in Kuaotunu. Dennis Colquitt
I've been coming to the Coromandel peninsula for 10years, staying just outside Coromandel town with Family. So it was a real treat to stay at Mercury Villas whilst competing in the K1 Cycle race. The Villas are along the Race course too which makes it an ideal place to base yourself and have the support team to cheer you on. I arrived in the evening and in the morning was treated to an amazing panoramic view of the Coromandel peninsula that I've never seen before. Each Villa is in immaculate modern condition. Breakfast on the deck or evening BBQ with that backdrop is something else.
This place is an amazing place to escape the rat race and relax! Amazing views!!! The house is highly spec'ed and has everything you need. Full bifold doors onto the deck means a totally unobstructed view. Even the kitchen sink has a view! Beautiful beaches close by, plus Luke's Kitchen down the road provides a great casual menu if you don't feel like cooking. And don't forget to try the Kuatouna Killer! (Ice cream from the local shop). Loved staying here & will be back for sure.
