Quiet pebble beach with a nice view. We went there on a sunday with awsome weather and there were approximately 10-20 people. There are some trees providing shade. The water temperature is absolutely refreshing. There is also a public toilet and a frisbee golf court...

Its beautiful place you can go.
Lake Tekapo is magnificent. With its turquoise colour one can easily trick the mind into thinking you are next to the sea. We had a woderful walk along the lake and spotted over 2 dozen rabbits hopping around. Even if it was the beginning of Autaum and the water was cold, we couldn't resist jumping in for a quick swim.
Nice camp for NZMCA members only
Early February the lake level was high due to part of the hydro system down. The water was warm. On a calm day it is paradise but when the westerly picks up it is wild. We were staying at the NZMCA park.
