Beautiful! Overall what a great experience. There were a couple of things that I thought needed updating or needed a lick of paint but nothing that would ruin your stay. The view is obviously a highlight but the service, the pools, the facilities were all great. The high point of my trip was the massage, I didn't catch her name but she was phenomenal. I can't speak highly enough of her, it was the best massage I've had so I really can't fault my trip. Also we had the vegan platter for lunch which was nice to have that option on the menu and some of the bits were delicious.

The hot pools are truly amazing! We stayed in a glamping Pod, basic but clean and tidy. Coffee and tea making facilities would be a good idea though, it's quite a walk to do that. Evening meal was really great and all the staff were truly lovely and just so accommodating. Lovely and clean although looking a bit tired and dated throughout, some maintenance needs to be done and some of it would be a reasonably easy fix. Would definitely return.

Had a great stay. Me and my boyfriend booked the Ultimate Package for 2. The food was amazing and the massage was so relaxing. The only thing I'd like to recommend is lighting from the pods to toilets/spa entrance....there is no lighting at all and it can be a little difficult navigating

My partner and I spent a night in a glamping pod. The pod was great accommodation, but without a fridge or tea/coffee facilities. Shared toilet/shower block was fine for our needs. The hot springs were lovely, a few spots that could use some TLC but nothing major - 24 hr access to pools/saunas was cool. Yoga with Ellie was a great start to the day, and breakfast was fairly good (if not a little expensive). Bring a torch and insect repellent!

A wonderful place to relax. Our 5 year old daughter was delighted with the algae springs and running in the fog on the grass by the river. There is a place to relax. A beautiful place for yoga. Wild and natural sauna sessions. Professional service. Just perfect.

The best hot spring resort in New Zealand. I would definitely come back! It’s tucked in the middle of mountains with no shops around. For your convenience, I recommend bringing some snacks or cup noodles if you are going to stay more than one night. Massage therapy was good too.

Really nice and perfect for a stop on the road to relax from driving. Food platters were fantastic. Love the outside hot pools and the foot massage

We booked a package deal where we got a superior room with dinner and entry to the pools. The hotel is situated in a stunning location right in the middle of the mountains - super peaceful and relaxing. The room was small but nicely appointed, dinner was excellent and the staff super attentive. The reason this review is only getting three stars is because we were kept awake by a super noisy group in the outdoor pools which are situated just over from the hotel rooms - I'm guessing this was large group using the camping part of the resort. The group was there well past midnight and even with the windows closed the racket kept us awake. I'm unsure why the hotel has a policy of allowing pool use 24/7 with noise being such an issue. Perhaps a closing time of 10pm would be more appropriate or at least ensuring noise is kept to a minimum.
