Chan’s Martial Arts Lincoln provides an excellent environment for learning. With over 35 years of teaching and training experience, Head Instructor Barry Thompson is an expert teacher and communicator who really cares about his students. Barry’s communication skills are second to none. I totally recommend Chans Martial Arts Lincoln.

Lao shi Barry is always keen to let new people have a go and see if it is right for them before signing them up. A great way for kids to gain fitness, strength, co-ordination, discipline, respect and patience. A bit of social and fun time included too :-) Just remember to bring your card, or you will be on push-ups.
First I took my son there and I was not sure about it, but I found the KungFu class very family friendly class. It seems everybody is care about others. I started KungFu later and it was one my best decisions in 2019. Great people, useful skills and safe exercise

Love my Lincoln KF fam! This is an incredibly supportive environment, led by Mr Thompson who is completely dedicated to bringing everyone to a higher level. Our kung fu sessions are both focused and fun, and we are also helped by a growing team of black belts. I have trained here for over 4.5 years and have enjoyed developing my self-defence skills and confidence, alongside fantastic training partners. There’s nothing better than leaving your day at the door, and smashing in some pads!
Amazing Kung Fu Club. My son started when he was just 6 and he was such a shy and timid wee man but now after just 9mths of training with Chans Lincoln he is so confident, fit and happy to be in a group with others. The black belts and teachers are so patient, caring and understanding of the children’s needs. My son LOVES his Kung Fu evenings and the break we have had over Christmas has just about ruined him! . If anyone is questioning if their child should give it a go - I suggest coming in and seeing for yourself - that’s what is so amazing - you are welcomed and invited in to the Lincoln Family before you even officially join!!
