Appalling experience from start to finish, the job took six weeks instead of the three to four in the quote and the end result was not what was quoted on. We had two specific design requests and we didn’t get either. When we expressed our disappointment and asked Dennis to honour the job he quoted on he got grumpy and made no effort whatsoever to rectify the job or fix the problems. Feel completely let down by Billabong and will not go back or recommend others. Basically we got exactly what we didn’t want. Suggest you shop around and spend your money elsewhere.

I was impressed with the quality of service, and the quick turnaround. The communication was great and I'll definitely be taking my trailer back there for any work and repairs it needs in the future.

I had a boat trailer that needed galvanizing. I have sent quite a bit of time and money on getting it ready to be done. I spoke to Dennis to get it organised and he had no problems fitting it in. Unfortunately, the galvanizers were unable to dip it due to too much rust in the main draw bar. I spoke to John the engineer and he tried his best to get it done using other methods- but to no avail. In the end, John drove over to Karori with my trailer on the back of his ute and dropped it off - also with the paint that I needed to do the job myself. All I paid for was a little piece of welding and the tin of paint. They were extremely helpful. Saved me a lot of time and money. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants that personal touch and face to face contact. Reminded me of the old days.
