One of four large separate cycle shops in Lower Hutt. But prices need to be more competitive among those shops as most parts are double the online prices for the same item. Evo had good service the day I visited which was appreciated.

May as well call it Evo Mountain Cycles. Went into the Lower Hutt store today and there was hardly any stock. I went to try and get some winter cycling clothing and gloves for road cycling and there were just no options. If there was an item I was interested in, they didn't have the size. No gloves for road cycling. No long bibs. Also needed some new road tyres and couldn't find any of those either on display. When i had a bigger look around i think i saw about 5 road bikes for sale and about 50 mountain bikes. Won't be back - Torpedo 7 or the local bike shops actually have stock for road cyclists.

Went into the store to buy gloves, barely any in stock. I wanted fingerless and they had none in stock. 40 minutes in the car wasted. Measured my hand according to the guide online. Ordered a pair and they're way too small. Now I have to drive another 20 minutes each way to return the gloves for a bigger size. They probably won't deliver either so that'll be fun. I wish their Wellington store actually had stock but it seems to be a retail front for bike services and sales instead. I'll happily take recommendations from others for where I should take my business instead. Cheers.
