Masala Village is a Joke! We ordered online - 2 x Chicken Korma 1 - Mild Spice and 1 - Med Spice and 2 x Garlic Naan....I travelled to this store from Stokes Valley as it was told they were good! WRONG!!!! The curry was bland and watery, no flavour at all and the Naan bread was BURNT!!! I called the store and made them aware of my finding's. And their response was a JOKE!!! they offered a replacement curry.....Do you think I am going to take that offer considering we do not like the taste of the current curry what makes us think that the replacement is going to taste any better??? Then they asked how they can accommodate me? I asked for my money back....and they said no they cannot do that is it is not in their policy to refund unless I can return the curry untouched! UNTOUCHED are you kidding me is that so you can sell it on to another customer? What a complete joke this place is and I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!! **UPDATE** 22/07/2017 - The owner had responded and stated that they were not the Naan's they delivered?!?! They were the Naan's i picked up with my order! I do not go out of my way to savatage a business These were the Naan's i got from them. And we didn't even eat the meal prior to complaining, I left there store went to McDonald's near by to purchase my son's meal then returned home dished the curries up, had a mouthful and that was it

We get takeaways from here a bit and it's consistently really good. Their online website is easy to use and reliable. The prices are good value and a bargain if you get free delivery. Medium is not that hot, if u want a little heat order medium. Mild has no spice from memory. Keep up the good work Masala Village.
My second review for Masala Village! They have been closed for a little while so we had to go elsewhere, let’s just say we are very glad they are open again now as Masala Village curry is the best in the area. Tonight we had our regular chicken tikka masala and lamb sagwala. The sagwala is lovely and green, you can tell there’s alot of spinach in there. Really good flavours, the alternative place we went to was so bland in comparison. I strongly recommend trying out Masala Village for your next curry!
This is now Roman's Pizza. Food is good (at least pizza and fries and shakes) but they seem a bit disorganized. Nobody answered the phone so I had to come in person to order. Online ordering is missing drinks and combos.
Tasty butter chicken. excellent service. got my order delivered for free within 30 mins. thank you guys. will definitely come again.
From ordering and delivery to eating this place was just super awesome. Totally recommend
The online ordering is great, among the best Ive used and the price for 2 curries was great especially considering it was free delivery, took around 45 minutes to deliver which is probably about right so no complaints there. However sadly the flavor of the curries was not the best, we got a butter chicken and a chicken korma and they were both a bit bland and the butter chicken in particular was quite oily. Definitely not as tasty as other indian takeaways we have tried around lower hutt.
