We had the most incredible experience with NZ Movers. We needed to relocated from Auckland to Wellington 2 weeks before our wedding and NZ Movers made the whole process completely stress free! Kendra from NZ Movers had exceptional customer service and the moving guys carefully packed all our gear. Everything arrived in Wellington in the same condition as it left Auckland. Would not choose any other moving company! Thanks again NZ Movers!

New Zealand Movers Wellington is a company that I personally can highly recommend. They packed, containerised & stored my belongings for 7 months, then moved them to another location inter-island, where upon finishing unpacking, I found everything arrived safely without any breakages or damage. All the staff that I dealt with from management to packers & the movers were professional, careful & friendly. If you are looking for a Moving company that looks after you & your belongings with care & pride at a very reasonable price, then you have found them.
Excellent communication and seemingly great at what they do up to the point before we paid the moving cost off. After the payment, everything from returning phone call or email was delayed, not keen on sorting out our car shipping details anymore, the actual moving day was worst the movers had zero communication and bad attitude. The drove the moving company van, uses packaging from all companies. Would not recommend.
Debbie and the Wellington office were able to quote and book my move to Auckland in one day. They communicated throughout, offered the most competitive price, and the crew careful and thorough when packing my items. Contents arrived soon in Auckland totally undamaged. Wellington branch has my full endorsement and will use NZ Movers again in future.
I have used them 3 times and very happy with the results. Debbie from the Wellington office was particularly helpful in making sure that everything went smoothly.
I used NZ Movers for the first time this week for an across country move. I can not recommend them highly enough. Their contact staff were informative and supportive during the quote and payment process and during the uplift and delivery the staff on the ground were very efficient and so polite. 10 stars!

Overcharged commute fees - I was billed for their time stuck in traffic getting to my place which was triple the normal drive time. Absolutely ridiculous! If that's the case, they should offer a billing cap on commute times based on mileage, not per minute. Charging 500 just because they were stuck in traffic is not the customer's responsibility and they should absorb that cost, not pass it on to the customer. Either start before or after rush hour, then.
