Close to the state highway and great for a small break away from your BAU. There are many years of toil in the area and their lives are relived in panels on the walls that tell their story in the Hutt Valley. The walks are easy with a large grass area to relax and lunch. Good to see no rubbish on the walks. Well done NZ!

What a fantastic place to visit, perfect for young and old. Bring your packet lunch and have a picnic on one of the many tables dotted around. There's plenty of shade to help on even the hottest of days. We'll be returning again pretty soon - loved it!

Lovely park, and no dogs allowed, so no mess. Lovely environment. Differing walks available (easy, expert). Lots of parking - but cars are often broken into there.

Beautiful natural area and walkways. Went in the evening and walked to the waterfall. Not great for jandals though. Also steps may prove challenging for those with mobility issues.

Nice place for a picnic as there tables around. Perfect walk thru the bushes. Wooden steps thru the walking way to the waterfall

Great reserve with a good mix of walking tracks. The 30min return to the waterfall is recommended.
