It runs alongside the Hutt River all the way from Upperhutt to Petone. A great recreational cycle and walking track in addition to the old stop bank track. Recommend it.

If you wish to get away from the madding crowd this is it, you will hardly see more than a handful of bikers, joggers or dog walkers compared to other more popular stretches of the Hutt River. Not as pretty as some other parts but part of the HR Trail and accessible by car also for part of the way. Access is opposite the Farmers Crescent housing complex zone.

Pleasant open space with many on foot access points to the river. Only inaccessible during periods of sustained rain.
