Nestled in the heart of Waiwhetu - Waiwhetu Marae is five minutes drive from Hutt City centre. The traditional carved marae, Te Ati Awa, is available for seminars, functions and educational visits. I love coming to Waiwhetu Marae - I have visited this marae on numerous occasions mainly being hui/meetings and the odd tangihanga. The kitchen is impeccably run and the kai they put on for the manuhiri is also top notch and rest assured you are very well fed. The grounds and buildings are well maintained and always very clean - It truely is a beautiful well cared for marae.

MY MARAE I LOVE THIS PLACE
This has been my local marae my entire life. It's always well looked after and has been the host to many a tangi, birthday, wedding and hui. All events are run and catered for professionally!
