Mid 2016, we asked Wright Pools & Spas to inspect our hot tub spa (made of timber) and advise on how to make it operational. We kept the pump, they replaced the controller/heater, the filter canister, and redid all the plumbing. After that, every approximately 6 months, one component would fail after another. Each time, Wright Pools & Spas came to repair the component (the controller or the filter canister), each time at our cost. Only once they conceded to charge half the labour. When we explained these components stopped working way too often, we still had to pay for their repair. Once, the vendor even confessed the controller they had installed was of average quality. We eventually drew the line when they came to fix the filter canister (who had cracked despite running at nominal pressure) and left with the controller/heater shutting down unexpectedly after a very short period of time. We said we'd stop paying for something that we thought should simply work, and was well within what we could expect being a reasonable lifespan for a product of this price. They then started to blame us for breaking the parts. I actually wonder how I can break a filter canister or a controller by looking at them, but ay, maybe they got upset because we called out what was clearly lack of ownership over the plague of issues the system they installed was having. I thought that was a bit harsh, after we'd paid for every single repair that had come our way. Ultimately, the spa is now empty, as the controller doesn't want to stay on long enough to remotely warm the water up, and we are the ones left with a system that has stopped working. Meanwhile, Wright Pools & Spas has had most of its time at our place paid off and we have an unusable stranded asset.

I brought a spa for my wife and I for Christmas and we love it and use it every night and never slept so good in my life . The service was top notch and they no what they are talking about . We almost brought a spa of trademe but we soon realized you dont have much to fall back on if something goes wrong so it pays to spend a bit more and get a quality spa that they stand by . Thanks team at Wright spas highly recommended cheers
