Spent 3 days in February at the hut. Started out warm, then got snowed in. Was just stunning, the snow was a bonus. Take plenty of warm clothes and Pinot. Deer footprints outside the hut overnight, great walks, and make sure you have an outdoor bath.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay at. The hike in is easily manageable in 3 hours and provides stunning views if the weather holds. Breathtaking stargazing if there aren't clouds and the owners are really friendly and accommodating.
