U-Fly Wanaka's Glacier Ridge Scenic Trial Flight was the highlight of our road trip last month. Tommy was an excellent tutor and guide. Despite the dual controls, we were surprised at how much of the flight I was able to be in control of the plane. Like others I highly recommended this full hour flight, and even in early autumn there was so much snow-capped mountain scenery around Mount Aspiring. Combining a (very) scenic flight with a trial flight is such a good idea. We both really enjoyed the experience, thank you.

Awesome experience. Did the 1-hour flight lesson to Mt Aspiring. You get to fly the plane for most of the time and since the two controls are linked you can follow the movements of the pilot in critical situations like the landing for example. The pilot explained a lot and even took time to answer all our questions after the flight. Highly recommended!
A friend and I recently had a blast on the U-FLY scenic flight from Wanaka to Milford sound and back. The views were absolutely incredible. We had no idea would see so much. And seeing Milford Sound from the air is absolutely mind blowing. Flying close to the stunning snow-capped mountains and over glaciers, braided rivers and valleys was so beautiful. One of the best things I've ever done in New Zealand. Our pilot was awesome, kept us informed of everything we were seeing and made the whole experience fun.
Very good flight. Weather was perfect and Tommy the flight instructor was great. Definitely do the one hour flight!
A birthday present from the family, a half hour introduction to flying. Very professional in delivery, pilot was a really nice guy, and felt completely at ease with everything. Would definitely recommend.

Went for a trial flight and loved it, Fox is a awesome teacher, calm and very good at explaining everything simply! Just completed 13 hours of training. Looking forward to the next stage
