Great place when the sun is shining and the lake is calm. I much prefer Manapouri over TeAnau. Just my own preference. Tends to be less overcrowded. Decided lack of shade so sunscreen is essential.

Manapouri is a quaint little town with not much going on. There are beautiful views of the lake. We did an AirBnB here in order to take a Doubtful Sound trip.
