Max Birt Sawmills sells mostly wholesale to timber suppliers and those in the trade. They have a very wide range of timber sizes available, and can do unusual sizes like 30x10 or 400x400. Their yard is huge, and they often have what you need in stock. I'm not in the trade, and are an ordinary end user. I have used them a couple of times now to supply timber to be used for a deck and for a floating floor. I found their service excellent and their pricing sharp. One of the main reasons I used Max Birt is because I wanted fixed length decking timber (6m lengths). It is very hard to buy fixed length decking timber, but being a saw mill they can simply manufacture what you want.
