Great place to stay while we were in Mangawhai. Very nice to stay at a small family run motel. We stayed in unit 2, which was a family unit. The main bedroom had a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom had 2 singles. The bathroom was of ample size, very clean and modern. The living area with kitchenette was perfect for us. There was a microwave, toaster, 3/4 size fridge, electric fry pan and kettle available as well as ample crockery and cutlery. In addition to the dining area in our suite, outside our door was a 4 seat outside eating area which was great to sit and eat at or have my morning coffee. Great location as we were a couple of doors down from the grocery store, bakery, butcher, bottle store and other shops/cafes. On the Saturday morning of our stay there was also local market next door with lots of vendors selling crafts and food. Free Wifi was a big bonus too! We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great motel. Simple but clean rooms, friendly owners, and they have free wifi for guests. The only thing that slightly irked was the harsh energy saving lightbulb in the kitchen/living area. Otherwise, recommended!
