Called the clinic to get an appointment, the lady on the phone said we're too busy go through the g.p!!! So i called Newmarket branch and she booked an appointment for me for next month for some other clinic. How rude of a staff, she could have done the same.

Call center - 5 dollar consultation with community services card. Manukau Clinic - we dont do community service card prices for this particular consultation. Me - Ive used my community services card here before for other consultations in relation to different enquiries. Manukau - yes but the consultation for this enquiry, we dont do community service card. Me - whats my reason for visiting you got to do with the consultation cost, the cost of a consulation should be the same regardless of what im there for. Manukau - We dont do. Me - Calls another clinic New Market Clinic - Yes we will take your community service card even for this particular enquiry. Makes no sense that clinics differ between each other for the same organization. I could hardly understand the lady over the phone either. These types of places should be promoting health care by making it as easy and affordable as possible to encourage better health care in the community. As a student the difference between 5 dollars and 35 dollars is alot. What kaka!
