Had an amazing stay for 4 nights in January. We booked this at the end of a big South Island road trip, and really appreciated the luxuries of the lodge. Mark and Lynn were amazing, so helpful and kind. We used the great quality fishing boats, kayaks and SUP boards during our stay, and had homemade bread and pizza. Would thoroughly recommend, and would love to stay longer!

Hopewell lodge is off the beaten track and well worth the drive. The hosts are the nicest people to deal with. Go there for a long retreat. Next time I will take a ferry so I can spend less time driving :)
Absolutely loved Hopewell Lodge. Mike and Lynley are the consumate hosts. We had a wonderful relaxing time and we will be back as soon as possible. Thank you for your kind hospitality. Amazing venue.
Excellent service, excellent facilities, great activities and wonderful location. The shared bathroom and kitchen were perfectly clean. So peaceful. Didn't want to leave.
Great spot, sheltered from the wind and nice bay to swim in. Owners are great and make you feel welcomed. Lots of activities to do. Would come back!
We loved our stay at Hopewell. All of the activities were amazing and the beaches and water were so beautiful. Mike and Lynley were so accommodating and really looked after us during our stay. We hope to return one day and enjoy this great place again. I'd highly reccomened to anyone looking for a great holiday in the sounds, you can relax and unwind or do some adventuring or both! Stunning,piecefull, awsome hosts, plenty to do. Kayaking, fishing in the tinnie, picking mussels and oyster off the wharf to eat for tea. Gloworms. Golf. Walking tracks, hot tub.
