Inspired Desire

Quiet so always just walk in and order and eat. No waiting. New. Clean. Food is well cooked. Juicy. Chips are crisp. Staff were great. So happy Nandos is close to me now. Looking forward to more visits.

This place is such a mixed bag. You never know what you’re going to get. And not in a good way. At least with a box of chocolates every item has chocolate in it. Here on one day you’ll order some chicken with a side of salmonella since the chicken is undercooked. Ain’t nobody got time for that. And then the next day perfect Nando’s. Nobody beats Nando’s on a good day but I don’t have possession of a crystal ball. Guy that works there with the long hair makes the good stuff. If he is in then order. If not, just make an omelette at home. And PS guys, I know that an espetada is cooked on a stick. So when I order an espetada and get stir fry chicken and veg, with no hole though the chicken and veg, it’s not an espetada. PPS my husband loves this place.

Today I was wanting to order Nando’s for lunch phoned 6 or 7 times no one answer end up I need to go to the shop to order.I walked in and talked to a guy with long hair I said to him I phoned 6-7 times to the shop no one answer must be something wrong with your phone then he said he did not even hear the phone ringing then he checked the phone got the flat battery. Then I was joking to him I said you will lose lots of business if your phone is not working.He replied you can use online order or App order I said I am old school that is why if the phone is not working then I come to the shop to order. Then he replied you cannot came into the shop to yell just because the phone is not working. He repeated that I cannot yell for 3 or 4 times but I did not even yell.The reason I asked him about the phone is not working is I want to know why, secondly I wanted him to fix it so he can receive other people’s order. But the way he talks pisses me off as a result I walked out the door without ordering. Last time I did the phone order about 1 or 2 weeks ago when I went to pick up the order ,the lady told me the business is quiet she sounded very depressing I replied to her that’s why I am here to support the local business. Last time I ordered about 56 today was going to placethe similar amount for the order.But seems like they don’t need the local support at all. I am not dying for not having Nando’s instead ordered Texas Chicken it was easy to order ,quick prepare and pick up, Chicken is tasty and crunchy. Hope the owner of the business will see the comments if the business is not as busy as before apart from COVID there are some other reasons too!

Restaurant is clean and big. I like how they have a station for condiments, complementary Nandos sauces, forks and serviettes etc. This one also has a basin, soap and hand towels so you can easily wash your hands without needing to go to the bathroom which is a must when you're eating somewhere like nandos. They have great vegan options, I ordered the superfood patty in a burger and it was soooooo good!!
