Great shop, fantastic collection of books and good range of cards. I love the quotes and phrases they write on the board in frond of the shop. They always make me laugh. The last one is a complaint about partying neighbours. Usually she can handle it but now it was 'All night long'

Absolutely awesome. Has a great selection of NZ and international authors. I'm a tintin collector from way back and this great store has its own tintin section. You might find some Asterix as well . Definitely go here for great books.

Awful experience. I buy a book or 2 here every time I visit (I like to support independent book stores) but I won't be bothering again after being treated so rudely by the woman running the shop. I was already struggling with a week of upsetting news about a loved one and this was a cheer-me-up visit. So the sarcastic tardy treatment I received cut deep. Thank goodness for a lovely day at a beautiful local beach to restore my soul. Be kind to people, you never know what they are going through.

Good selection of books but due to terrible customer service we had no choice but to leave empty handed. Tried to shop local and oh what a disappointment - will take our 's to the book shop in Warkworth instead. Will never be back here again. To the rude and arrogant lady in the shop, how about finding another job rather than being utterly miserable to the customers and ruining their day. Sounds like a lot of other people have had the misfortune of dealing with this particular staff member.The owner really needs to sort his/her staff out. Be funny if she turns out to be the owner too - then there is really no hope haha Massive thumbs down to this place
