Loved the setting in which the markets would normally be when on. Although the stores were open, the markets weren't unfortunately because it was not market day. I have heard so much about them and now seeing the setting, it has made me want to return because I believe they are amazing. Looking forward to returning some day soon for sure!

Great market, great food, had a fabulous salmon bagel from the Happy Heart stall and some lovely Matakana botanical products, fresh veges and fruit, overall an enjoyable morning. Tip: get there early or the traffic will drive you crazy

Beautiful vibrant vibe here. The best market I’ve been so far. Beautiful with cherry blossoms and stream behind. Friendly locals. Fresh produce ️So magical. Would love to go every week.

Absolutely love Matakana farmers market, they have some amazing stuff! They even have cafes and eateries, so its a good day out, you can just walk around the market. Last time we went, luckily we got some fresh fruits and bakery items as it sells out pretty quickly. It's quite a drive from Auckland tho, lots of traffic/road works etc. But the market itself is pretty good, worth the time and drive! Would definitely go again some weekend!!

We visited this place during Easter. A great place to visit with family and friends. Lots of cafes and shops. Limited parking during major events. Highly recommended.

The market is nice, with a decent variety of food stalls in a scenic location. However everything is really overpriced, 6 small dumplings were 16. Parking is also hard to find, and a lot of items are sold out after the 1st hour.

This is amazing place. Love the crowd and love the vendors. The wine, organic veggies, cider, sandwiches... just tried all those I possibly can. Only thing is, parking is not that great, but that's because a lot of people come to the place. Will definitely come back.
