We were recommended this cruise by our accommodation host. I am glad we booked with this company as the boat handled the windy weather very well and the windows with skylights were awesome. The mountains are so steep it was great to be able to see up. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great small size cruise. Took us very close to the waterfalls which the other big cruise ships couldn't do, so they have an edge over the big ones I reckon. Definitely worth it. The lady onboard was very knowledgeable. Recommended.

The cruise cruise exceeded all our expectations! We got wet in the waterfall, and were lucky to see a penguin, dolphins and seals! The crew was nice and friendly, they gave us many interesting facts about the fiord! Mitre Peak Cruises is highly recommend!

If you go to Milford sounds then I highly recommend this cruise. It’s a smaller boat with less passengers. Free tea & coffee and an excellent commentary from the skipper. We were lucky to see seals and a large pod of dolphins. The scenery and waterfalls are just breathtaking!

Such an incredible cruise. As informed by our friendly and knowledgeable skipper, we came on the best day possible - a bright, sunny day, immediately after a heavy downpour the day before. This made for stunning waterfall experiences. The boat itself was clean, tidy, and relatively modern. Fit for purpose and very smooth on the water. Not knowing what to expect from the trip, we were blown away by what really is one of the most stunning pieces of nature in New Zealand. Highly recommended. MitrePeak Cruises made this experience even better with their fantastic staff, boat, knowledge and price. It really is the complete package!

Beautiful views! Carry a raincoat, especially if you want to enjoy the waterfall the boat pulls up to without getting soaked. Or get soaked but carry a towel and change of clothes!

Service is nice, it’s a small boat with not too many people on board hence throughly enjoyed moving between the sites. Very nice staff and support at call centre. They serve free tea, coffee and hot chocolate on board. There is live Live commentary on board by the skipper. Total length of the trip is 2 hours. Take you through the both sides of the channel. The boat has 2 floors.
