Great experience. Fishing was well organised. Dropped the lines and got loads of blue cod. They filleted it all on the way back to shore and bagged it up. The guys were super friendly. Tea and coffee facilities on board were appreciated

The Brook Fishing Club is based in Rangiora in Canterbury. We organise up to 20 fishing charters a year for our 40 strong membership. We have been using Moeraki Fishing Charters for about 4 years because we have found them to be the best on the East Coast ; they are well worth the 600 km round trip! They are great to work with and will always go the extra mile to make sure that everyone has a good time. We tell them what we want …….. and they sort out the rest even booking us suitable overnight accommodation and providing breakfast. On board the boat there is a very comfortable cabin. Hot drinks and food can be provided. Rods, reels, traces and bait are all provided. The deckies keep everyone supplied with bait and provide help as required leaving you to get on with what you came for ….. the fishing. Callum, the skipper, works hard to find the fish and he liaises with the skippers of the bigger commercial boats for the latest insider information. We typically catch blue cod, red cod, perch, terakihi, grouper, gurnard and sometimes something a little bit special and out of the ordinary. They fillet the fish for you so you go home with several kilograms of fresh fillet all ready for the pan. The Brook Fishing Club highly recommends Moeraki Fishing Charters – you’ll have a great fishing experience with them.

Too k my 2 boys and there mates out for a fish with sirocco (easy fish) charters and a great day was had by all the crew were excellent and up for a laugh and Hregg the skipper brilliant we caught plenty of fish for all eight of us to get a good feed of fresh fish for a few days. Thanks Hregg,Mark and nicknamed other crew member buzzard from now on as he was always hovering round to help

Awesome day out fishing with Richard and Danny. Accommodation was spot on. Lots of options available including rod and tackle on board if uou need it. Depending on the time of year lots of variety to target. AAA
Awesome Charter - would highly recommend! Kirsten and Callum were amazing and if the fish weren’t biting in one spot we’d quickly move to a spot where the action was happening! Caught heaps of fish and had a beaut day out. All fish filleted and bagged for us at the end and we were sent on our way! We’ll definitely be back!
