The pools were cleaned lately and all around they were really nice, with small pool for non-swimmers. Sea view at high tide and if you are brave enough, you can watch sunrise from the pool.

Worth a look if you're new to the area. This is very close to Motueka's original port which has an excellent historical presentation board

Very cool spot for a swim and BBQ, get there early if you want a freedom camping spot though

the salt water pool is filthy and barely gets cleaned. use at your own discretion. Campsite at the reserve for self contained vehicles only. limited spaces available. There was a traffic cone that said "parking full" when i arrived to the site. i walked inside and checked and there was 1 spot all the way at the end so i moved the cones and drove in.
