This place is magical. Amazing garden sculptures, garden and the house which was a piece of art. Absolutely stunning. I am glad that my husband and I stopped by this little paradise garden. Omg how can I forget so many peacocks dancing and singing. Beauty. 10/10 Thank you.

We stopped at this place on the way to Queenstown from Glenorchy. It was raining and we had two little kids so was not sure if the kids would handle the 45 mint walk and the weather conditions. When we went into to seek opinion the lady rudely dismissed my questions and so what do you want to do, don’t waste my time if you don’t want to come in. That attitude was totally uncalled for and made my change my mind. Place looked very beautiful and magical but certainly not child friendly. Shame.

My sister and I stopped at this art garden and so glad we did! Amazing garden sculptures all made by the owner, ponds with salmon, peacocks roaming, serene walkways through the gardens. And then we were offered a house tour and wow it’s amazing! Scenes of prehistoric NZ on one wall, amazing carved furniture, the most unique bathroom, again all done by the owner from local materials. The tasteful rooms are set up as a B&B with stunning views over their gardens and Lake Wakatipu. If you are looking for something different, I’d definitely recommend you visit this place. This was a highlight of our trip!
