Just spent a lovely weekend in Corsican Lodge. The house was perfect for families sharing. Kids loved the bedroom they could all sleep in together. This house has a great outside lawn area for kids to play outside. Another great weekend in Mt Lyford. Will be back next summer ️

After a hard bike ride we were welcomed by a most accommodating and friendly host. We enjoyed the unique sleeping pod and the hot tub and very generous dinner and breakfast.
Harakeke Hut was really great. Hot tub is ideal after skiing. Claudine and Ross were super helpful hosts. I loved being off the grid and the kitchen dining area has everything you need. Good location, nice comfy accommodation. We'll go back!
We stayed at Sandy Heights, had a wonderful time with 2 kids. House was perfect and when asking the highlight of our holiday Miss 3 replied - the log house! Had everything we needed, fire kept us warm and the kids loved the view!
We had a fantastic stay in Pokaka. The chalet was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. An added bonus was that we were able to bring our dog. The location was amazing - so peaceful and relaxing.
We stayed in Pokaka Lodge as it allows dogs. It was a great choice. We loved the logburner which really did heat the whole house, the lounge was snug, the kitchen well-equipped and the beds were warm and comfy. We arrived in the dark so the view out our bedroom window the next morning was jaw-dropping! Would return in a flash!
Would highly recommend staying at one of the log cabins. The bed was super comfy and the house was well catered. We were there in off season and it was very peaceful and relaxing. The bird song was a real treat. The hosts were great to deal with and we will definitely be back again.
We love our annual ski trips to Mount Lyford. All the various houses we have stayed in have been fantastic. Plenty of space for families and friends to spread out. Fresh mountain air, close to an awesome skifield, great coffee at the lodge, roaring log burners and fantastic views.
