An unique way to explore a place. You have various varieties of bikes upto 6 seater to explore. Roads are a little narrow in mt. Manganui, so can become difficult to navigate sometimes.

Nobody there even though it was during open hours. Rang the number and it is disconnected. Bikes looked in various stages of disrepear. Drove al the way from town to hire the fat tyre beach bikes. Don’t bother.
We walked down the street and we couldn't find the Indibikes bike hire. we took a closer look and we saw that it stated it was behind the Brew cafe. we went through the alley and saw some duobikes with the Indibikes branding on it and a shipping container.... but nobody there! felt real dodgy, but we thought best thing is to ask at the bar at Brew. A friendly girl went to ask around and looked for the guy that was supposed to be there to help us. as we suspected no sign of him and we came to understand this isn't the first time he didn't show up. there were 4 bikes in there and only ONE was ready to ride. the others all had their problems; one seemed fine but had a lock on it and no way of taking it off, one had a broken handlebar and while she claimed it was alright it didnt feel safe at all. the last one i had to do some work on myself as the employee had no experience with fixing bikes. the handle bars and the seat weren't secured at all and luckily there were some tools. even then the bikes were horrible and exhausting to ride and steer well. the bike i fixed still had a broken stand and the left pedal was crooked. they didn't have gears and with the oversized tires, which didnt have enough air in them, inclines and hills everywhere we were back in 45min as my gf is quite a big girl she got real exhausted and even i started to feel tired and i'm quite a fit guy. overall a very disappointing experience. The one star is for the friendly and helpful Brew cafe employee that helped us out as much as she could.
