Basic area, like an extended rest area. Some massive pine trees. The worst long drop toilet I have ever experienced (good structure, horrific smell). Can't walk far along the stream. A functional place to overnight, but not a destination.

A quaint wee spot for campervanning! Love listening to the river and, due to a special time, loved listening to the rain on the roof. Plenty of puddles for the dogs to splash around in. River was clear when we arrived yesterday and quickly became dirty when the rain came last evening. Rain ceased this morning and the river is clearing. A few friendly campers around all respecting the land and others. The long drop is....... well it's a long drop and I'm pleased I don't need to rely on it!
Very nice quiet place and the scenery was gorgeous.
Had the lovely quiet place to myself.. just stopping to have a coffee and walk the dog.. can see it would be great free stopover for camping. Central to a lot of interest points.

Bowyers Stream is a well looked after camp and considering it's free is worth a visit. We were able to go down to the river for water for our caravan. There are rubbish bins and a long drop toilet. It was a bit smelly but some air fresher helped. Would stay there again.
Nice scenery, great stream not far from mt Summers.
Great place river is nice for kids to play in. Rubbish collected daily. Kept very tidy
