Great hut, one of my favourites. Great place to take a family of for your first tramp. Pays to take a bedroll and earplugs as it can be quite busy at times. Definitely worth going midweek for the peace and quiet.
Great hut to stay at. We walked in with kids and found the route beautiful. Once at hut you were very comfy and clean and lovely suspension bridge and water pools to play at. Easy to do other walks from and return to. Good job

Great new Hut. Used it while it had full capacity with the young family and the atmosphere was amazing everyone worked together to fit. Well maintained by the volunteer workers. Keep it clean if you visit and stay safe
Great hut. It's new, the facilities are in great shape, and the trails that lead to it are breathtaking and easily accessible for any skill level.
Awesome hut! 26 bunks, and a logburner. Clean and tidy, with breathtaking vies, a short walk away. A fantastic family experience. Don't forget your hut tickets -purchase these from DOC offices.
