I ordered a vacuum cleaner from the Godfreys Website, to be delivered. The key reason went online, was to have the product delivered. A week later nothing had shown up. I spoke to "customer Services" who 3 days later informed me that the delivery was at the NZ Post Shop and I would have to go and pick it up. This was not the service I purchased, as I am not able to get to the Post Shop! The Godfreys "Customer Service" response was a fairly off hand "can't do anything about it", I was asked if I wanted to cancel the order, which I did. Apparently, they can arrange to have the goods returned to them but not delivered to the correct delivery address!!! A Complete waste of time!! Now I await for the refund of the purchase price, waiting waiting! Not recommended!

I am very disappointed with the customer service of Godfreys. I bought a Hoover vaccum from this store and I was never happy with it. I took it back after using it twice after couple of weeks and I was turned down pretty bad not to get a exchange or refund. I had a receipt too. I am frustrated that I still have to pay off the big amount through finance and me and my flatmates can't make any good use of the faulty vaccum I was sold. I bought a Hoover carpet shampooer at the same time too and that does an alright job so I won't return that. But atleast if I can get some help with this vaccum that would be good? A 50 kmart vaccum does a better job!

I drop my shampooer 13 days ago for changing the belt which it supposed to be done in 10 days but I get answer that "maybe they had other job to do" when I call Manukau branch and I got answer that the machine is in Sylvia park store and from Sylvia I got answer NO ITS NOT HERE IS ON THE WAY AND WILL BE HERE IN 2 DAYS not satisfied at all from them and we always buy cleaning equipment from there but not any more

I dropped off one of my vacuums well over a month ago for servicing. No contact. So I called them. Their response. We sent you a txt. Your vacuum is here so you can pick up up now. Me “no I never received a txt”. Godfreys staff “no idea mam but you can come get it now”. 10/10 for top customer service clearly. I’m sure the service wasn’t this bad a few years back. This place is now always understaffed. The owner of this place doesn’t care about good service or their people. Just taking money and over working staff who then become stressed poor delivery and performance. The poor man who works here doesn’t even get a break. He eats his lunch in the shop floor because he’s always by himself. I wonder what will happen when he falls ill from being over worked. Too bad nz law protects companies from such cases.
