First time trying Nando's and their vegan burger, staff who took my order was patient and friendly. After 10 minutes they brought me a burger and said something along the line of "chicken" which I thought wasn't sounding right and I take a look at it and I felt like it wasn't fake meat so I asked the staff whether it was vegan burger and she stared at it for a few seconds and took it to the kitchen and then serve it to another table without a single word. I would have expected at least some explanation as to why I got served a wrong meal, which I may know as to why it was mixed up as my table number was missing and possibly placed in a different table that other customers thought it was correct as the customer only report the table number when they order through the counter or their website. To prevent things like that from happening again, they should train their staff to always verbalize the name of the meal, and ensuring that the table number card is always in the right place as that's an important part of their ordering system. The lack of accountability or sincerity is appalling as they could have served something that the customer may be allergic to which a mix up can be a huge problem.

The store owner/manager here tried to excessively charge money on the bill. He was supposed to add 18.50 to the bill but instead added 20. When I asked about why he didn’t add the exact amount to the bill, he said there was no items on his menu that added to 18.50. This was a categorical lie as 18.50 could be added by adding a 4.50, 4.00 and 10.00 item. When I raised this with him, he then said that he was too busy to add the correct price. I looked at him surprised as he had just clearly lied to me. I looked around to see if he was “busy” and I was at the only person at the counter. I thought it was bizarre the manager would try and cheat a customer out of money by over charging them. He then tried to tell me he was going to give me free chips but upon close reading, the dish I had just ordered came with a free large side (which meant he wasn’t even giving me anything for free and potentially was going to give me something less and pretend it was free). Be careful to check your bill at this place as they seem eager to hustle you. Never seen such willingness to lie again and again in a fast food place over 1.50?

Power cut (which is fine it happens) and manager told everyone not to worry so us customers just waited for a good while. No updates were given to anyone what was happening so customers started to get up to get refunds and we followed. We were told we couldnt get refunds not even from the tills and to come back.. Don't know what others did but we came back another day not wait for hours (??) Decided to just get the food instead of the refund. Took over 40 minutes to be served food no updates on the long wait and when it arrived the order was wrong.. Didn't bother sending the chicken back to wait another 40 for that to be done correctly. Anyway last time here for us not worth that hanger.

Nice place. First the chicken is nice and moist. The seating arrangements are great catering for small or large groups and can be private. Very comfortable. Service is spot on with a smile. Frequent Nandos very often in many cities. 1st time in Sylvia Park at their new location upstairs. Great improvement in food quality and layout from their previous shop.

Good tasting chicken. But just not spicy enough. I hope they can come up with one that burns and is super spicy because their selection is not spicy enough. Apart from that very enjoyable. My mom bought us some takeaway today and enough to feed whole family. Food Quality: 4/5 Food Quantity: 4/5 Presentation: 4/5

Was a bit confused when we went in. Turns out you grab a seat first so you have a table no. My husband and I thought when told to take a seat we were going to be table served. Looked like we were not the only ones. Once we realized it was not going to happen. All good though food was lovely. They may need to be a bit more clearer in future.
