Lovely small village trade store and coffee shop they make the nicest chai lattes. General groceries available too.Curios and gifts if you are a tourist bit pricey but unique. Impressed public toilets with its own heater and very clean.Public shower available for 2 another bargain for freedom campers

Mrs Woolley's Campground is a good holiday park which sits near the beautiful hills of Glenorchy. It has reasonable campsites, good WiFi and a nice camp kitchen with oven tops, fridges, sinks, toaster and jug. Plenty of areas to sit and a kids playground too. The bathrooms are clean and modern. There seems to be two showers each for women and men. The only downside is that we have to pay 2 for a 7 min shower, which seems a lot considering the price of the camp fee. I would have thought that a camp fee paid at reception would include all use of the camp facilities including showers. But otherwise a great place.

Good facilities available, and reasonably priced, only problem is its right next to the road

Great place to stay, interesting eco-concept. 2 shower though and everything is kind of outside so there's no place to chill when it's raining the whole day for example

Great campsite and facilities. Super friendly and eco friendly too ️

Very nice but more expensive than Webb site states. Facilities are excellent.

Not a great place to camp in bad weather. There's virtually no shelter in the campground, and only a small undercover kitchen with two tables, the rest just being under shade sails. The toilets and showers need a veranda in front, as they end up a sodden mess in rain. The sinks for washing in have no cover, so you get wet while brushing your teeth. Also quite pricey.........

Staffs were friendly but were not aware of the price for single person per night for powered sites. They ended up charging 35 per night for one person. The amount I have been paying never exceeded 27, and this was my first encounter ever for paid showers too. Staff tried to explain it's expansive to live in Glenorchy, but it's NZ, it's expansive to live anywhere. The facilities were good and clean.
