A recommended must stay! Such a great spot in the beautiful Marahau, the staff are so friendly super helpful, incredibly accommodating and the options for your stay are plentiful. We stayed in the Creek Studio, a beautiful spot, nice and warm, with a beautiful well pressured shower, nice bathroom, small kitchenette and super super comfy bed. The Creek House or Beach Bach are also two great looking spots spacious for a couple of people. Loads of on-site powered cabins and spots for the RV or Camping tents. There's a Yoga Deck, cinema room, warm fire, shared kitchen and lovely facilities thought the site as well as plenty of activities for the kids (volleyball, badminton, football and more). It's a spacious campsite with access directly to the beach and onward to the walks around Abel Tasman. Place was incredibly affordable and came with so much for what you pay. If your planning a hike around the AT, a little getaway or just looking for somewhere different to stay, then here it is. You won't be disappointed!

Magical place to stay. Staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. We loved the movie night and easter hunt. Great facilities and the view is amazing. Also a cool range of games to do like ping pong and badminton. Make sure to check out the glow worms just into the forest of the track.

We stayed in the cabin for two nights. We loved our stay at the Barn Cabins & Camping. Linen and towel are provided at the cabin. It could be cold at night but the room is equipped with heater and blanket. There are two kitchens, one is huge and the other one is close to the common room. There are plenty toilets and showers! Large area for parking too! They have yoga class on the weekends. Great location, as it's close to Kaiteriteri Beach and in our route to explore beaches in Abel Tasman. If you want to do laundry, they charge 4 each for washing machine and dryer. The washing detergent is available at the reception for 2. PS: they have a cat. Not a friendly one though, but it's fluffy

Absolutely loved the place. Well maintained, clean and has got a personality of its own. Great helful staff. Very welcoming. Good views of the national park and the bay nearby. 10 mins to the nearest beach , good warm water at 6 pm during high tide even in autumn. Long hot showers were the highlight !!

We loved our stay here. The Barn is a super relaxing place, with stunning views and great facilities. We stayed for two nights but could have easily stayed longer. All the personal touches, games, hammock and a fully equipped kitchen. We even joined a free Yoga class with Alexa, which felt so good. Thank you, we will be back.

We stayed here recently in the Creek House and was very impressed with the set up and space. The owners of the accommodation were super flexible as we have a little unusual circumstance which we needed to be catered for and the owners were amazing and allowing us to do what we needed to do. It was clean and tidy and comfy plus warm given the unusually cold weather at the time of our stay. The local birds were curious and friendly too. It was nice and peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Lovely, open and practical environment. Right on beginning of magnificent Tasman walkway. Great facilities clean and just about every domestic device if you have left home without anything. Showers are great with plenty of water, grounds are huge with native bird life abundant.
