What a fantastic weekend we have had. We arrived knowing no one in our tour group, and finished as friends. Roger and Karen were awesome hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and were flexible to the groups needs. For example, Tony picked up everyones wine purchases from a vineyard. Tony also made sure we got to the last vineyard in time for the wine tasting before they closed. The accommodation at The Crown was excellent. And the wine tour. So many vineyards, so little time. We are simply going to have to come back again.

What a fantastic day!. Picked up by the fabulous Tony. Got excellent bikes with all the trimmings. Could have spent all day at Black Barn but pleased we didn't because the biking was awesome. Easy riding, comfortable & so scenic!. Lovely vineyards & delicious pizza at the end at The Awanga. Really recommend a wee bike around The Awanga village by the sea as well. Picked up on perfect time & great chatting all the way back to hotel. Loved our day

You guys are awesome!!! We had SO much fun on our e-bikes hitting the wineries. Customer service was outstanding. Massive shoutout to Tony for coming and changing the tyre when Briar popped hers, Rodge for picking us up at the end and letting us drink in the minivan, and to Lucy for being a hype gal for our night out. 11/10!!!
From the moment we wondered in to enquire about what was on offer we felt at home and at ease. With the help of the lovely staff we selected the tour we wanted to do, booked it in and we set for the next day. On arrival everything was ready, we were given great instructions and set free to explore. Riding and wine tasting was a great way to spend a day. Roger was amazing on pickup, he loaded the bikes while we finished our lunch and took us back to base. All in all a very enjoyable day, we will be back to do more of the trails on offer.
Takaro trails set us up with bikes and took us to the first vineyard and collected us at a vineyard at the end of the day. The more than 16km cycle from start to finish was an easy ride but difficult to do in the timeframe. It was not easy to find anywhere for lunch as the first 3 vineyards didn’t serve lunch and the last two were completely booked out. There were loads of cyclists on the same trail so the wine tastings took a long time as well. We probably would not do this wine tasting trip again but would do other cycle trails.
Karen and Roger simply excel in customer service. When things didn’t go to plan with our group they stepped in and rescued the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the cycle trails. We will be back.
As a couple of novice e-bikers we were a little uncertain of what to expect but Roger & Karen were quick to put our minds at ease giving us detailed instructions on the bike operations and the route we were about to take. As a result we had a fabulous experience and now can't wait to get our own e-bikes.
