Woolly Productions is a book publishing enterprise, fuelled by a genuine desire to create education inspired content that provides value for children, tourists and New Zealanders alike. Founded in 2016 by a group of Nelson College Students, the first book "Where's Woolly?"​ received national recognition, making four national best sellers lists, winning the HSBC Sales and Marketing Award and being named the 2016 Young Enterprise Scheme Company of the Year. Having realised that a generation of Kiwi's are growing up with devices, Woolly Production now has thousands of Children powering off finding Woolly among New Zealand's most celebrated sites, from Waitangi to Queenstown. Woolly's reach spans 27 countries and over 2000 homes, schools, kindergartens, libraries and bookstores. Woolly Productions drive for education inspired content does not stop at children, through sharing New Zealand's unique and special culture to inspire tourists and expats from around the world. Woolly’s journey is innovative, cultural and socially responsible, with a responsibility to provide education inspired products only being a part of the deal. In our first 8 months, we donated over $1000 to the Starship Children’s foundation, another $1000 to the Child Cancer Foundation, and donated books to Kindergartens in both Vanuatu and El Salvador. Our Mission, born out of a classroom, is to create education inspired content, that recognises the unique culture we live in and inspires Children, tourists and New Zealanders all over. We reckon the best way to do this, is with a sheep.
