First and foremost I would like to say kudos to the staff and manager who was handling a nasty lady customer in the shop. They were calm through out the entire episode. I feel as a customer we should respect the staff for all their hard work and patience, but this lady customer was being rude by pointing her finger to staff face and screaming at her. The staff had to remove herself from the customer and the manager took over. As I sat down with the staff to book an appointment for my wife, the customer came up to her again and started pointing her finger at the staff face and started berating again. The staff continued to stay calm and just paid no attention to her and continued talking to me. She continues finger pointing and raising her voice even when she was outside of the store. Well done to the ladies for being professional and not tolerating such behaviour. Not all customers are right.

Very very very poor customer service. Very disappointed. They have no values for customer's time and put very little effort in serving people with respect and passion. They are very dishonest. We need absolute honesty when it comes to eye health.

I couldn't make my appointment in the CBD today, and miracles, I got one at this store instead. I bumped into one of my favourite Nieces and her lovely husband to be. He was shopping for new frames. So that was indeed a good omen and nice setup for a good experience from the customer retail service from the appointment booking to the initial contact of getting details, to trying on frames and the eye exam was excellent. Friendly helpful, professional and I even got a glass of water on request. Very thorough eye test undertaken and I was happy with the advise from the optometrist. She (sorry didn't get her name) was very warm and approachable. She pointed out matters about my eye health that I hadn't had before, nice point of difference there.. Pleased with the results I went onto the selection process. As I was the last appointment for the day. I couldn't spend the time browsing for frames. as the shop was closing. Hayden did offer that they would extend the time for me. That was a real Wow factor. I declined I didn't want to stop them from getting home to their dinner. But also I'd seen a pair of frames at Sylvia Park Specsavers that are really meant for me. Which this store didn't seem to have in stock, so sadly I might not be able to complete the full customer experience with this store. However, all in all I enjoyed my time in this shop. I'll remember the Wow factor. (they might not be able to do that for every customer, don't wanna hold them ransom on that one) Yes I do highly recommend. Oh they did paper contact tracing.

Had a horrible experience shopping at Specsavers, New Market. My daughter bought two pairs of spectacles. While one is absolutely fine, the other one gets out of shape. She took it to Specsavers three times and they adjust it. Finally, after fourth adjustment in two weeks, we asked the self claimed owner of the business, what do we do if it happens again? He smiled and said, come back again from Takanini to New Market and he will adjust it. We requested if the frame could be changed in case it goes faulty again which he bluntly refused. On asking about our rights under Consumer's Guarantee, he lost his cool & shouted on us to GET OUT of his shop. A video was also taken on his unruly behaviour.

Came to adjust glasses. Glasses were bought from Specsavers more than a year ago but they were more than happy to adjust them and even replace both nosepad without even the need to ask. What a breeze!

I felt very rushed and pressured. After I told Adam about my mother's dementia and is unable to speak English. He asked my mother to spell her address... I think there is a strong focus on selling at this branch. I did not feel any care. Fortunately the optometrist is very friendly and patient with me and my mum. I only added one more star because of her. Hard selling without care. Things were not explained well enough at the time and we were not offered the senior discount either. Honest feedback .
