The cafe is beautiful and has lots of choice. This was our first visit and we would love to come back. We had the fish and chips, which were delicious along with the corn fritters which were just as good. Thank you so much.

Definitely worth stopping. Delicious homemade selection of food, warm friendly service and plenty of small town charm.

Lovely, friendly staff who were happy to oblige with out of the ordinary drink orders. Great food, tasty and well seasoned from both the menu and the cabinet. Coffee was nice and strong and prices reasonable with good portion sizes. We were particularly impressed with the home made bread! The ambiance was warm and friendly with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely return to this cafe next time we are in Ngatea!

Absolute best place to stop on the trip between Auckland and Tauranga. Really really good food and coffee. It can be busy but that's for a good reason.

Paid far more than I normally would for a burger but it was worth it. Very fresh ingredients, excellent quality meat patty with the pickled onion that made it a ploughman's burger. The fish and chips for the thumbs up from my fellow diner. The coffee is expensive, 5 for a long black is over the reasonableness cap. The decor and furnishing relaxing and professional. Road noise not obvious. Staff well trained, well dressed and professional.

We came here due to trying to find somewhere open on Christmas Eve. We were not disappointed. The muffin and Neenish tart were rated highly by the husband and kid. The coffee was good, I especially liked how large their large was! However, the sausage roll was dry and lacked flavour. The mini potato tops were ok but not great.

For range of food, service and cleanliness fantastic. Fish deliciously fresh but you can improve... the shop smells from the stale oil and the fish and chips tasted of it. Hence I left the batter and most chips uneaten.
