This place was awesome to visit. Especially during winter. The pools are heated differently throughout the park & the cost was next to nothing. I recommend going for a soak at night.

These pools are fantastic. The main complex is under construction, but there are 8 pools on the lake-side that are open. They range from nice and cool (27 deg C) to HOT (45 deg C). The waters come from the geothermal field, so are strongly fragrant of this, and have natural mineral content. Very simple - just a changing shed and couple of toilets - which is perfect. The two staff who met us and opened the gate were great. Friendly and relaxed, with lots of interesting info about the place and its history. The pools aren’t covered, so if you’re going during a sunny time, maybe wear a shirt and big hat. You don’t want to be polluting the beautiful mineral waters with sunscreen (which would wash off immediately anyhow). We left feeling totally blissed out.
Awesome relaxing place, with great spirit.
Great way to relax after a long day of work
a surprising range of different rock pools in a relatively small area. they ranged in temperature from 34C to 44C on the day we visited. the temperatures do change... and some felt way hotter than the recorded temperature, and some cooler. it was interesting too how the different pools felt on the skin. bring water to drink. no food or drink for sale. no food may be eaten in the pools. expect to feel refreshed, but tired afterwards. basic changing facilities. only outside cold water shower. leave showering for later with residue on skin. suggest older swimming gear, but we had no issue washing out mud. note you need to avoid transferring mud from one pool to another as they each have different properties.
A non fancy spa but one of my favorites. they have hot and cold pools.
Fantastic place, highly recommend
Not open and no where on the website does it state it's under construction until April!! Waste of a drive
