Want to go trout fishing? Welcome to the Easter Fish & Game Office. If your in Rotorua or just passing through this place is worth the stop. See the hatchery of trout ready for restocking the local river's and lake's. Get your fresh water fishing license that allows you to fish all river and lakes in eastern bay of plenty. Even if don't want a license it a really interesting place to visit.

Such a wonderful place. Nature at its finest close to home and free. Who doesn't love being by water and being able to spot fish every where you look. Nice loop walk takes you around the park to its many pools and hatcherys. Includes an aviary that houses a few birds too. Dont be shy and go for a visit. Will be well worth it.

A great place for any fresh water fishing questions you may have. A children's catch out pond full of trout that runs on certain weekends by appointment.

Not a bad wee place for a stop and a walk around. You can feed the fish in various stages of development but best for a forest wander along the creek spotting 'wild' trout.

Can't go wrong, no cost except fish food if want, nice drive and walk around the place. Imo at least all locals must go here at some point. A memorable childhood experience for me was catching a fish here on there kids days through spring
